Music...
A very big decision for our trailer had to be the music because we needed something that really caught the viewer’s attention and represented the whole feel of our soap. We discussed lots of different genres but went for a 'pop' song that most people would have heard of. We felt that we needed a fast tempo song to go with people walking around school and with the party scene but we didn’t want to use a track that’s too like dance music. We decided to use the song ' Sweet Disposition' by 'The Temper Trap' which we had heard last summer and thought it had a light upbeat mood but was different to most songs and very catchy.
To use the song we must ask for permission from the record company that holds the rights to the song. We composed an email and sent it to Infectious Records. If we do not recieve a reply we shall continue to use the video however if they refuse we will have to change track.
